According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, North Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the private other heavy construction industry (), followed by South Carolina (207), and Arizona (120).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-564), followed by Illinois (-468), and Michigan (-420).
