According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private beverage and tobacco product manufacturing industry (1,633), followed by North Carolina (334), and Texas (272).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-183), followed by Illinois (-90), and Maryland (-49).
