According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private apparel manufacturing industry (420), followed by Illinois (100), and New York (99).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-159), followed by Washington (-127), and North Carolina (-114).
