According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the private leather and allied product manufacturing industry (), followed by Wyoming (), and Maryland (11).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-47), followed by Texas (-41), and California (-38).
