According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, New Hampshire added the highest number of jobs to the private footwear manufacturing industry (), followed by Maine (17), and Maryland (11).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-33), followed by Arkansas (-23), and Texas (-18).
