According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (31), followed by Oklahoma (31), and Michigan (17).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-74), followed by Alabama (-44), and Florida (-31).
