According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Idaho added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (), followed by Illinois (213), and New York (207).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-126), followed by Louisiana (-95), and Texas (-89).
