According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2022, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (211), followed by Illinois (154), and Pennsylvania (140).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-92), followed by Mississippi (-39), and Maryland (-26).
