According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (104), followed by Kansas (81), and Florida (69).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-395), followed by New York (-357), and Ohio (-225).
