According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Wisconsin added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (220), followed by Kansas (203), and North Carolina (170).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-132), followed by Mississippi (-54), and Montana (-30).
