According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private other chemical product and preparation mfg. industry (147), followed by South Carolina (107), and California (77).

On the other hand, Kentucky added the least number of jobs (-79), followed by Pennsylvania (-48), and Virginia (-45).
