According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (162), followed by North Carolina (89), and Michigan (80).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-133), followed by Missouri (-115), and Ohio (-103).
