According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (226), followed by Indiana (220), and Texas (144).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-83), followed by Wisconsin (-61), and Connecticut (-25).
