According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private fabricated metal product manufacturing industry (211), followed by Minnesota (140), and Kansas (132).

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-137), followed by Massachusetts (-80), and Missouri (-78).
