According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (778), followed by Michigan (750), and Minnesota (546).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-904), followed by Maryland (-413), and Louisiana (-265).
