According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Georgia added the highest number of jobs to the private merchant wholesalers, nondurable goods industry (421), followed by Mississippi (364), and Florida (348).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-950), followed by Illinois (-912), and Iowa (-721).
