According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private building material and garden supply stores industry (3,141), followed by Florida (2,290), and California (2,195).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-348), followed by Michigan (-215), and Massachusetts (-124).
