According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private building material and garden supply stores industry (2,128), followed by Michigan (1,893), and Minnesota (1,880).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-548), followed by Florida (-490), and North Carolina (-164).
