According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private building material and garden supply stores industry (294), followed by Massachusetts (280), and Florida (278).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-389), followed by North Carolina (-330), and Virginia (-328).
