According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private book stores and news dealers industry (1,702), followed by Florida (995), and Texas (915).

On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-5), followed by South Dakota (-2), and Alaska (0).
