According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the private sea, coastal, and great lakes transportation industry (265), followed by Florida (161), and Massachusetts (154).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-129), followed by Maryland (-8), and Louisiana (-6).
