According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private general freight trucking industry (396), followed by Florida (267), and New Jersey (203).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-817), followed by Illinois (-248), and Texas (-218).
