According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private transit and ground passenger transportation industry (3,044), followed by Missouri (2,223), and California (2,202).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-4,030), followed by New Jersey (-1,426), and Massachusetts (-1,364).
