According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private urban transit systems industry (), followed by Iowa (), and South Carolina (140).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-153), followed by Connecticut (-93), and Arizona (-78).
