According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, New Mexico added the highest number of jobs to the private motion picture and sound recording industries industry (446), followed by New York (297), and Virginia (237).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-38,915), followed by Texas (-1,964), and Hawaii (-1,884).
