According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private accounting and bookkeeping services industry (1,001), followed by Maryland (159), and South Carolina (149).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-2,380), followed by Texas (-875), and Illinois (-832).
