According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (1,090), followed by California (901), and New York (485).

On the other hand, New Mexico added the least number of jobs (-816), followed by Oregon (-72), and Missouri (-61).
