According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the private colleges and universities industry (418), followed by Nebraska (215), and Minnesota (93).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-10,581), followed by Massachusetts (-8,620), and California (-4,495).
