According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private colleges and universities industry (2,830), followed by California (1,170), and Tennessee (1,081).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-173), followed by Kansas (-146), and Mississippi (-62).
