According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private colleges and universities industry (22,174), followed by Pennsylvania (11,620), and Massachusetts (10,304).

On the other hand, Montana added the least number of jobs (-75), followed by Mississippi (-19), and Wyoming (-15).
