According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Louisiana added 1,262 number of jobs to the private health care and social assistance industry. Among Louisiana counties, Calcasieu added the highest number of jobs (272), followed by East Baton Rouge (253), and Orleans (133).
