According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Texas added 5,782 number of jobs to the private health care and social assistance industry. Among Texas counties, Harris added the highest number of jobs (1,254), followed by Hidalgo (722), and Travis (580).
