According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private health care and social assistance industry (6,266), followed by New Jersey (2,590), and Virginia (1,036).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-4,965), followed by Minnesota (-4,864), and Illinois (-4,483).
