According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private medical and diagnostic laboratories industry (148), followed by Arizona (136), and New Jersey (126).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-91), followed by Virginia (-63), and Massachusetts (-31).
