According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,067), followed by California (974), and Florida (945).

On the other hand, Missouri added the least number of jobs (-416), followed by New York (-404), and Colorado (-248).
