According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,999), followed by Massachusetts (1,385), and North Carolina (802).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-1,784), followed by Pennsylvania (-1,370), and Idaho (-1,120).
