According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,426), followed by North Carolina (1,390), and Florida (1,194).

On the other hand, Nebraska added the least number of jobs (-914), followed by West Virginia (-666), and Maine (-484).
