According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Florida added the highest number of jobs to the private general medical and surgical hospitals industry (982), followed by Texas (645), and Minnesota (529).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-2,149), followed by Pennsylvania (-1,502), and New York (-1,446).
