According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,474), followed by Utah (110), and Massachusetts (32).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-2,284), followed by Michigan (-2,008), and Georgia (-1,948).
