United States Payroll Employment By State for All State Government Business Establishments in August, 2020

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to all state government business establishments (5,325), followed by Georgia (5,239), and Indiana (2,573).

On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-1,583), followed by New York (-1,578), and Washington (-1,544).
