According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2022, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to all state government business establishments (8,219), followed by Texas (7,201), and Virginia (6,602).
On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,004), followed by South Dakota (-848), and North Dakota (-605).
