According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the state government goods-producing industry (15), followed by Virginia (2), and Massachusetts (0).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-228), followed by Mississippi (-182), and West Virginia (-92).
