According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Alaska added 426 number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Fairbanks North Star added the highest number of jobs (87), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (44), and Kenai Peninsula (36).
