According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Maryland added 1,254 number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry. Among Maryland counties, Baltimore city added the highest number of jobs (1,118), followed by Wicomico (135), and Frederick (67).
