According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Virginia added 4,378 number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry. Among Virginia counties, Smyth added the highest number of jobs (36), followed by Norfolk city (30), and Patrick (17).
