According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the state government colleges and universities industry (8,122), followed by Wisconsin (2,297), and California (1,926).

On the other hand, Montana added the least number of jobs (-982), followed by North Carolina (-883), and Virginia (-629).
