According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (305), followed by New Jersey (276), and New Mexico (162).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-410), followed by Georgia (-270), and New York (-268).
