According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (747), followed by California (569), and Colorado (524).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-352), followed by Georgia (-345), and Texas (-232).
