According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (433), followed by Colorado (297), and Ohio (274).

On the other hand, South Carolina added the least number of jobs (-981), followed by Maryland (-698), and Kentucky (-603).
