According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, New York added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (178), followed by Utah (167), and California (164).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-1,435), followed by South Carolina (-620), and Alabama (-617).
